On 11/13/89, Juanita Jones was shot during a robbery at Circle K, which was once located at the corner of Bodcau Station Road and Highway 80 in Haughton.  

Juanita Jones, 32, was the lone clerk that night.  At about 10:30 pm, someone entered the store and shot her in the head.  She died five days later as a result of her injuries. 

Juanita was former United States Army, unmarried, and had no children.  She was a 1975 graduate of Haughton High School and has three younger brothers, a mother, and grandmother still residing in Haughton. 

It is believed that the suspect(s) have ties to the Haughton and Shreveport areas.

7/7/2012 - Identity Theft 12-8604

Bossier City Police and Bossier Crime Stoppers are asking the public for information to help catch the suspects who used a man`s stolen credit card and bank card at a Shreveport store to make nearly $800 in unauthorized purchases.

The victim reported his wallet stolen last month. The wallet contained several financial cards, two of which were used by a man and woman at the Walmart Store on Pines Road in Shreveport to purchase assorted merchandise.

The suspects, a white male and white female, and their vehicle, a white four door sedan, were caught on store security cameras.

Bossier Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $285 for information that leads to the arrest of the suspects in this case.

Anyone who can help police identify the suspects is asked to submit a web or text tip via this website.  Persons who contact Crime Stoppers are reminded they may remain totally anonymous.

Bossier City police and Bossier Crime Stoppers are asking the public for information that helps them catch the suspect who recently shoplifted thousands of dollars worth of sterling silver earrings from a local store. Bossier Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $375 for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect in this case.

            The incident happened in December at the Kmart store in the 3000 block of East Texas. The suspect managed to unsecure a display case containing about three dozen pairs of earrings and place it in a shopping cart. He then went to another part of the store and put the earrings in a bag before walking out unnoticed by store personnel.

            The suspect’s picture was captured by a store security camera. Anyone who can help police identify him or has recently purchased sterling silver earrings from a man with a heavy build who looks like this suspect is asked to call Bossier Crime Stoppers at (318) 424-4100 or submit a web or text tip via this site.  Persons who contact Crime Stoppers are reminded they may remain totally anonymous.

The Bossier City Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying the individual pictured below.  On 10/31/11, this suspect entered a local convenience store, stealing several cases of soda.  He also grabbed a donation box for Breast Cancer research.  He left in a white four door vehicle, with unknown tags.

Bossier City Police are asking for help in identifying the individual pictured below. 

 

On or about 9/14/11, this subject and his white female accomplice used the victim`s credit card a total of 10 times within a three hour time frame at several different locations in Bossier City.  There total in fraudulent charges was $656.36. 

 

These subjects may be driving a four door Chevy Cavalier, green or teal in color, bearing a Louisiana license plate.

This suspect found a debit card lying on the ground, then used it to fuel her vehicle, a white, newer model Mercedes M class.  Suspect possibly lives or work in the south Bossier area.

This suspect fraudulently used a fleet fuel card belonging to a Bossier City business.  He made several purchases in Shreveport and Bossier on 10/4/10, fueling a Penske truck, and a dark SUV, possibly a Pathfinder.

On 7/17/10 at about 2:58 am, a tan Chevrolet Trail Blazer drove through the gates at the Madison Place subdivision on Heritage Drive.  The damage is estimated to be $4000.  The driver appears to be white, but the gender is unknown.

Bossier City police are asking the public to help identify a woman suspected of stealing five laptop computers from two Bossier City businesses last month. One of the businesses was able to provide police with a photo of the suspect taken by a video camera from a laptop that was on display in the showroom.


Witnesses say the woman was accompanied by two men at the time of the thefts. The woman is suspected of taking the laptops while one of the men distracted employees. The suspects then ran out of the stores and fled on foot.

In this credit card fraud case, the victim reported that he left his stalled vehicle on I-20 at I-49.  The vehicle was later broken into between May 22, 2010 thru May 23, 2010.

During the vehicle burglary, the victim’s Visa card was taken and shortly thereafter the credit card was used at the Super Wal-mart in Bossier City.

The suspect pictured used a stolen check to puchase items at Wal Mart, 2536 Airline Drive in Bossier City.  One of the items purchased was a Cri-Cut scrapbook cutting instrument.

September 28, 2002: 37-year old Carrie Walker Poole, black female.  Her body was found late that afternoon inside a storage room located below the garage apartment in the 2300 block of Broadway Drive where she resided. Her death was a homicide. Officers responded to the residence after a friend and co-worker asked police to check on her welfare after she had not reported to work.
